New Delhi: The Delhi-based Lakshaya Bharti Institute of International Hotel Management (LBIIHM) has introduced a scholarship scheme christened ‘Atithya Shree’ for students taking admission, starting this year in the Institute. The Atithya Shree scholarship is for students who have qualified Class 12th and look to take admission for Hotel Management graduation.
The Indian hotel industry is growing at a rate of 15 percent annually and the Central government has talked about the bright prospects of this field, saying that this area would be accorded special importance.
According to LBIIHM director Kamal Kumar, the scholarship scheme is divided into three categories, under which a student can get concession in annual fee between 10 percent and 30 percent. An important aspect under this scholarship scheme there is a special concession for students, wherein every category of students will get 10 percent of concession in fees.
The Atithya Shree scholarship scheme has been designed in such a way that students can benefit from it in each and every semester, Kumar added.
