New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The University of Mumbai will release the exam time for the upcoming semester exams in a couple of days, as per a report published in Times Now. It suggests that the decision on the final time-table of university exams will be taken and announced by the students by the end of this week. Students can check the time-table by visiting the official website– mu.ac.in once it gets released online.
Apart from this, MHT CET exam dates have been released. The entrance examination for enrolment to technical, medical, and dental programs that would take place between July 20 to 30.
The state education minister will conduct a meeting along with all the university VC and a final decision would be taken during the meeting, the report claimed.

Sharing a tweet, Uday Samant, Minister of Higher and Technical Education of Maharashtra wrote, “An important meeting of all University Vice-Chancellor had been organized through VC concerning Examinations. This meeting shall cover the topics UGC has noted. After discussing this with Honorable Governor and Honourable Chief Minister a proper decision about exams would be finalized within 2-3 days.”
He added that committees would be set up by the government to discuss and prepare the final schedule of pending exams at the University of Mumbai.
As per media reports, the state education minister is trying to follow the academic schedule as per UGC guidelines. If it is to be followed the exams would be conducted in July, followed by results in August and -enrollment in September.
As per BMC, Mumbai is the worst affected city in the country with over 10,000 cases and 25 deaths. A total of 2,287 patients have been cured and active cases stand at 7,828.
In India, the death toll has crossed 52,000-mark with over 1,750 fatalities. Maharashtra has reported 16,758 cases with 651 deaths.
