JEE Main Admit Card 2020: The admit cards of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main January exam 2020 will be released today, December 6, 2019 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). All the candidates can download the NTA JEE Mains January 2020 admit cards from the official website, the link for which is jeemain.nta.nic.in . The JEE Main 2020 examination will be held from January 6 to January 11 at various test centres across the nation.

JEE Main Admit Card 2020: How to download

In order to download the NTA JEE January 2020 admit cards, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Log on to the official website of NTA JEE Main 2020: jeemain.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link which says, “January JEE (Main) 2020 admit cards”
  • Enter your application number, password and security pin
  • Click on submit
  • JEE Main Admit Card 2020 will be displayed on the screen
  • Download it and take print out of the same.

The JEE Main score is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and even private engineering and architecture courses. A cut-off will also be released for the candidates to qualify for JEE Advanced exam which is an entrance gateway for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

JEE Main 2020 January: Mode of the examination

  • BE /B Tech in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only
  • B Arch: Mathematics-Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test -Part III in “Pen and Paper Based” (offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheetofA4 size
  • B Planning: Mathematics-Part I , Aptitude Test-Part II and Planning Based Questions Part III in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only

JEE Main January 2020 examination Choice of medium of question papers

  • The medium of question paper shall be in English, Hindi and Gujarati
  • The option of question paper language should be exercised while filling up the Application Form and it cannot be changed at a later stage.

Guidelines to candidates appearing for JEE Main 2020 January examination:

  • Candidates must bring the following documents on the day of examination at the test centre. Candidates who will not bring these will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
  • Printcopy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA’s website
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) should be taken for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at Centre during the examination
  • Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) -PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/Ration Card with photograph/ 12thClass Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph
  • PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category
  • The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre two hours before the commencement of the examination so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before the time. Registration desk will be closed 30 minutes prior to the examination.

  • Downloading of Admit Cards: 6th December 2019
  • Dates of Examinations: 6th to 11th January 2020
  • Date of Announcing Result: 31st January 2020
