SSC: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results of Upper Division Grade Limited (UDGL) departmental competitive exam 2016 on its official website, the link for which is ssc.nic.in

The SSC UDGL examination was held on December 7, 2018 at various test centres across the country.

SSC UDGL Results 2016: Here’s how to check

  • Go to the official website, ssc.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on ‘Upper Division Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2016-Uploading Marks of Paper-II’
  • PDF file containing link of the result will be displayed
  • Scroll down and click on ‘http://ssconline.nic.in/sscmarksmodule/’
  • On the new page, enter your exam name, roll number and password
  • Click on submit
  • Results will be displayed
  • All the candidates are advised to take print out of the same for future reference.

Note: This Facility will be available for a period of one month i.e. from 11th of January, 2019(5:00 pm) to 10th of February, 2019 (5 pm).

Meanwhile, the commission has declared the final result of upper division grade limited departmental competitive examination, 2016 on 07-12-2018.The marks of Paper-II in respect all the 180 candidates (qualified or not qualified) are uploaded on the website of the commission, as per official notice.

SSC exams may soon go through reforms as suggested by Nandan Nilekani, Vijay P Bhatkar:

After several cases of questions paper leaks, the Supreme Court (SC) has favoured setting up of a three-member high-powered committee comprising Nandan Nilekani, a co-founder of tech giant Infosys, and renowned computer scientist Vijay P Bhatkar to suggest reforms for conducting of competitive examinations fairly by government bodies.

Meanwhile, the top court said it would not vacate the stay on the declaration of result of SSC combined graduate level (CGL) and combined higher secondary level (CHSL) examinations held in 2017, in which lakhs of students had appeared.

About SSC:

The SSC is a government body which conducts examinations to recruit staff at multiple levels in various ministries and departments. Several lakh students appear in the SSC examination each year and enter government services in Group C and D Categories of jobs once they qualify.
