VITEEE 2020 Exam Pattern – Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced the VITEEE 2020 exam pattern.The Exam pattern informs the students about the mode, the duration of exam, and the marking scheme of the exam paper. The first step in preparing for the entrance exam is that the students should be well aware of the exam pattern. The exam will be held between 2nd to 3rd week of April. It is a computer based test which is conducted for admission in B.Tech and B.Des courses in VIT University. VITEEE 2020 Exam paper will have 10 questions of Aptitude, with 40 MCQs from Mathematics / Biology, 35 each from Physics and Chemistry, and 5 from English.
VITEEE 2020 Exam pattern
It is quite important to be aware of the exam pattern for any exam. Without exam pattern it would be a hard task to prepare as it acts like a guide, in the process of exam preparation. The exam pattern of VITEE 2020 is:
- Duration: Candidates will get 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the question paper.
- Exam Mode: VIT University conducts VITEEE and it is a computer based mode.
- The language of Exam: The question paper will only in the English language.
- Sections in the Exam: There will be five section in the exam, for English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and Aptitude.
- Question Type: All the questions will be in objective type only.
- Marking Scheme: Each question will be of 1 mark. Negative marking will not be not applicable.

Confidence
Candidates applying for VITEEE must keep in mind that to be able to solve the questions in less time and with confidence should be the aim.
Analysis of the Exam
Before starting with preparation, a proper analysis of the exam should be done by the candidates for example its sections, important topics, weightage etc..
Planned Study
A daily plan of studying hours must be made to know how much to cover daily. Studying in an ordered manner will help in hit towards the goal. A proper study plan helps in better organisation of study hours.
Time Management
The most important factor while preparation is time management. Smart time management is important as it fetches you a better results. Candidates should not do multi-tasking. Short breaks should be taken at regular intervals, to prepare stress free.
Revision
Revision before for any exam is a must. Otherwise,the preparation remains incomplete. Candidates must not make the revision process very tiring. Use flash cards and notes made earlier in the revision process.
Focus on Weaker Sections
The weaker sections must be focused before that it gets strong by the time the exam arrives, in a measured way. When preparing, specific time must be given to them.
