CAR admit card for ICAR AIEEA 2017 entrance examination have been released today on May 31, 2017. Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will conduct the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) 2017 on June 10 and June 11 as per the notified schedule. The details of ICAR AIEEA 2017 admit card have been uploaded on www.icarexam.net (the official portal) for ICAR’s entrance exam related information.
Exam 2017:
ICAR will organise the AIEEA test on June 10 at 52 regional centres across the country. Reports are preliminary but nearly 60-70 thousand candidates appear for the entrance test to get admission in their sought after course and college, the counselling on which seats are done on the basis of ICAR AIEEA scores. This will be the 22nd time when ICAR will be organising the entrance examinations; AIEEA UG 2017 for admission to Bachelors’ courses, AIEEA PG 2017 for Masters programmes, and AICE JRF/SRF (PGS) 2017 for P.hD in agricultural and allied sciences programmes in the agricultural universities. The admissions are for the academic session commencing in 2017. The application process was carried out from 20th April to 6th May after an extension of 2 days in the last date.
Exam scheme (UG):
The ICAR entrance exam was initially scheduled for conduct on May 13 but the date was revised to June 10, 2017. On the day, with a duration of 02:30 hours, the test will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The question paper will have 60 multiple choice questions from five subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture. Out of the total 300 questions of 5 sections, candidates will have to answer any 180 questions. The test carries maximum obtainable 720 marks as each question carries 4 mark. 1 mark will be deducted on the attempting wrong answer by the provision of negative marking. Question paper will be in English and Hindi languages.
ICAR PG AIEEA will be on June 11, 2017 with same duration and timings. The test for P.hD will also be on 11th June with duration of 3 hours and timings will be 10 am to 1 pm. For more details about pattern and syllabus, kindly refer the official notification here at ICAR website.
Admit cards:
The facility to download ICAR admit card 2017/hall tickets is available now at www.icarexam.net, not on the main website of the council (www.icar.org.in). To download the admit card, candidates will be required to login with their application number and password at the website and then take the printout of the admit card.
It must be noted that ICAR will not dispatch the admit card to candidates via post or courier and the should only be downloaded online. And it is also mandatory to have your admit card with your on the test day along with an valid identity proof. Rest of the necessary instructions are mentioned on the admit card.
The results of all of 3 entrance tests will be announced by June 30, 2017 and the counselling has already been notified to be conducted afterwards in the month of July. First round of counselling will be on 7th July, 2nd on 17th July and the third round will be held on 27th July for admission to UG/PG courses on the basis of ICAR AIEEA exam results/scores/ranks.
