In view of the ongoing higher secondary examinations and with requests from candidates and parents for more time to apply, SRM University has extended the application deadline of the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) examination to March 30. Candidates can apply only online till the new cut-off date. The examination slot booking is from March 26 to 30.
Intending candidates are advised to apply in time and choose examination slots during the above mentioned span. Hall tickets can be downloaded immediately upon choosing the exam slot. Results of the entrance examination will be declared on May 1, followed by on campus and online counselling.
Application deadline has also been extended to March 30 for Health Sciences UG, SRMGEET for M.Tech and SRMCAT for MBA. To enable the applicants practice for the entrance examination, different test papers are available at the admission portal.
SRM University announced admission 2016 for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, for domestic and international students, in faculties of engineering, medicine & health sciences, management, and science & humanities. This admission process is for all the campuses of SRM University– three in Chennai and one in NCR Delhi and also for the Group universities of SRM University, Sonepat, and SRM University, Sikkim.
The registration had started from October 19, 2015. SRMJEEE would be conducted online in 150 cities pan India between April 19 and 25. SRMGEET and SRMCAT would be held online on April 23 and 24, 2016.
The eligibility for B.Tech at SRM’s Kattankullathur campus is a minimum aggregate of 65 per cent in PCM/PCB in HSC exam and 60 per cent aggregate for other campuses and SRM Haryana. For other programmes, a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate in the qualifying examination is required.
