If you have queries regarding Delhi University undergraduate admissions, then worry no more as you can get all answers from university officials at Open Days starting May 22.
The online registration for undergraduate admissions is starting from next Monday and you can head straight to DU’s conference centre on North Campus to seek information regarding the admission process.
The university conducts Open Days every year to counsel and guide the admission seekers and their parents. “It will start from May 22 (Monday) and will continue till May 31 at the North Campus’ conference centre. It will start at 10 am and end at 1 pm,” DU registrar Tarun Das said.
Das said an admission help desk has also been set up at the conference centre and it will work from 10 am till 5 pm. “The help desk will work on all working days during the entire admission process,” he said.
The university is starting the online registration process almost two weeks ahead of its usual schedule for courses in which admission is based on cut-off. The last date to fill the admission form has not been finalised.
The online registration process for undergraduate courses, in which an entrance test is conducted, will begin from May 31. DU conducts entrance tests for courses such as Bachelor of Management Studies, BA (Hons) Business Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration (financial investment analysis).
“There are around 1,600 seats in undergraduate courses in which entrance test is conducted,” said an official.
For postgraduate courses and research courses, the online registration will also start from May 31.
The registrar said the registration process for all programmes and categories will be online. “The eligible applicants are informed that the registration process of all the programmes will be completely online including Sports, Extra Curricular Activities (ECA), Kashmiri Migrants, CW (Defence), and PwD (person with physical disability) categories,” Das said.
Das said the details of registration process and subsequent procedure will be available in a bulletin of information, which will be uploaded online soon on www.du.ac.in.
