Acting on the direction of the Chief Minister, the information director general Dr Pankaj Kumar Pandey interacted with the students of Shahid Sainik Sri Nagpal Singh Government Inter College on Monday. He motivated the students to set the goals of their life from this day itself and work on achieving the same slowly but steadily.
As Dr Pankaj Pandey is having MBBS background, the students asked him about how to prepare for MBBS examinations. This aside, the students asked him about how to take the IAS and PCS examinations. Pandey gave them tips to take on such examinations from his own encounters with them.
“To achieve the goal, the students should have a strong self- determination,” he said, adding that they must be aware of things happening in their surroundings, State, country and the world. He also exhorted the students to involve in community service and social activities. On the occasion, he planted a sapling at the college campus by way of encouraging the students to go for the plantation.
Garhwal divisional commissioner Dilip Jawalkar interacted with the students of Government Inter College, Badowala (Jauli) and Government Primary School, Bhaniyawala on Monday. He said that the future of the nation depends on how the students are now preparing to become good and responsible citizens. He further said that the state government is taking a string of steps to provide quality education in the State-run schools. Besides, MDDA vice-chairman Ashish Srivastava interacted with the students of the Government Inter College, Mehuwala on the same day and motivated them to achieve desired goal of their life. Other senior IAS officers also interacted with the school students in line with the instruction of the Chief Minister.
