Attention students! Ministry of Human Resource Development, MHRD would be making an important announcement regarding the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2020 for classes 10 and 12. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE would be conducting the CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020 in the month of July. HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, took to his social media account on Twitter to share an important update for the students.

Taking to twitter, Pokhriyal shared that an important announcement would be made today evening for the CBSE Board students who are currently not in the same district as their board examination centres. It is important to note that earlier HRD Minister had confirmed that the remaining board exams would be conducted in the own schools of the students. In turn, hence, the order would be pertaining to the students who are not currently in the same district as their ‘own schools’.

Notably, many students travel to various cities for their education. Due to the lockdown, most of these students have now travelled back to their home towns to be with their family. A large number of students travelled from Kota and thousands form various Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya’s as well as various Kendriya Vidyalayas.

Though HRD Minister has not clarified the nature of the announcement, it is expected that all such students may be allowed to apply for a nearby examination centre. The exact announcement would be made in the evening. Stay connected to this page for latest updates.

About pending CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020

Pending CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020 would be conducted form July 1 to July 15. The new date sheet for the CBSE Exams has already been released by the HRD Minister. Also, to ensure social distancing, HRD Minister had announced that the pending examinations would be conducted in student’s own schools – in effect increasing the number of exam centres from 3000 to 15000.
