Mysuru: World Human Rights Protection Association-Mysuru City President Ismail Shariff has urged the Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi to release Moulana Azad National Scholarship for girls belonging to minority community for the academic year 2016-17.

In a press release, he has stated that the students pursuing their education from SSLC up to higher education at various institutions have submitted applications for Moulana Azad National Scholarship through registered posts and other mediums requesting for the release of the scholarship for the previous year.

Stating that many students had opted to discontinue their studies for non-release of scholarship, Ismail Shariff has said that poor students were finding it difficult to pay the fees as the last date to pay the fees was fast approaching. He has requested the Union Minister to look into the matter and release the scholarship at the earliest.
